The northern Zaire province?s Social Hearing and Concert Council Friday in Mbanza Congo analysed the points contained in the Public Investment Programme for the 2014 economic year.
The meeting that was chaired by the provincial governor, José Joanes André, also reviewed the work done in 2013, under the Integrated Municipal Programme of Rural Development and Combat of Poverty and the province's Development Plan for the 2013/2017 period.
The participants were also informed on the General Population and Housing Census that will be held in the country in May this year.
The agenda included an information on the Government's effort to register Mbanza Congo city as a world heritage.
Another topic on the agenda for the Friday's meeting was the proliferation of sects in the province and the illegal immigration phenomenon.
The Provincial Social Hearing and Concert Council gathers deputy governors, municipal administrators, local Government officials, traditional and religious authorities and representatives of political parties with Parliament seat.
