Nigeria: Gunmen Storm House of Jang's Media Aide

Jos — The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Governor Jonah David Jang of Plateau State, Ayuba Pam Dangwong, said he narrowly escaped death Saturday night when gunmen in military uniform stormed his house.

Dangwong, the Plateau State correspondent of The Nation newspaper before Jonah Jang got him into his government in 2011, said yesterday that armed men invaded his residence in Dandyes-Chugwi in Vwang District of Jos South Local Government Area of the State at 8:30pm Saturday while he was holding a meeting with church elders.
