Liberia: Assistance Justice Minister Linked to Passport Racket

Monrovia — An official of the Ministry of Justice has been linked to a birth certificate scandal involving a Fulani believed to be a Guinean national identified as Mr. Omaro Sow who wanted to obtain a Passport with the use of the certificate. .

The official of the Ministry of Justice, Mr. Abraham Fahnbulleh, who serves as assistant minister of Justice for Codification, reportedly facilitated the obtaining of a falsified birth certificate from the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare by Mr. Omaro Sow, but the deal was exposed after the Ministry of Foreign Affairs requested the intervention of the Health Ministry's Bureau for Vital Statistics.
