Nigeria: Ogun LP Petitions Police, DSS Over Daniel - Asks Speaker to Declare Party Members Seat Vacant

Abeokuta — Members of the Executive of the Labour Party, LP, in Ogun State have petitioned the state Commissioner of Police and Directorate of State Services, DSS, urging them to stop the former governor of the state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel from opening a parallel party secretariat.

The party executive also urged the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Suraj Adekunbi to declare the seats of four members vacant for allegedly failing the people of their constituencies.
