The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) generated a total of about N833.3 billion in revenue last, year, according to figures released by the agency.
Of the total amount, revenue from levies accounted for about N329.1 billion, while import, excise duties, fees and special levies totalled about N504.2 billion in the period under review. The revenue agency had the highest collections in December with a total of about N85.4 billion, while it recorded the lowest revenue in February with N60.7 billion.
