Kenya: Turkana Declares Hunger Emergency

Turkana county has declared the ongoing drought situation in the county an emergency. Almost 3 billion shillings is needed to support the over 400,000 residents affected. County Disaster management officer Charles Lokyoto says more than half of the county's population faces starvation.
