Nigeria: Okorocha Disagrees With Ohanaeze Over 2015 Presidency

For stating that prominent Igbo politicians should shelve their 2015 presidential ambitions, Imo State Governor, Chief Rochas Okorocha, has faulted the President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Gary Enwo-Igariwey, saying his decision was hasty as he did not consult widely.

According to the governor, who was reacting to the Ohanaeze chieftain's advice in his statement when he visited the former Governor of Abia State, Chief Orji Uzor Kalu, that prominent Igbo citizens should suspend their presidential ambition, maintained that it was the constitutional right of every qualified Nigerian to vie for the highest position in the land.
