Cairo: — The Arab Network for Human Rights Information (ANHRI) today said that the third anniversary of "Friday of Anger"- which is regarded by many Egyptians as the real beginning of January Revolution- was yesterday. However, the defendant who issued decision of cutting off communications is at large, and hasn't faced justice or law; although the investigations into the case, filed by ANHRI in February 2011, had been finished. The case was supposed to be considered in August 2011 by Kerdasa Misdemeanor Court, but the military judiciary withdrew the case form Public Prosecution by the help of "Adel Saeed"- Assistant to Attorney General- because the defendant is a military official.
The case has been frozen so far, although ANHRI officially addressed interim president "Adly Mansour", Field Marshal Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi- Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Chief of Military Justice- and Mohamed Fayek- National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) Chairman- to approve justice and reopen the frozen case, but all attempts were in vain.
