Kenya: Butere Schools Given Sh40 Million

Kakamega Schools in Butere district have received Sh40 million for building classrooms and administration blocks. Speaking to journalists in Mumias town yesterday, Butere MP Andrew Toboso said the money was given to 20 secondary and 40 primary schools in the district.

He said he will invest in education to boost learning in his constituency. Toboso said he has set aside Sh500 million for bursaries "I will disburse this money to those who are needy," he said.
