Africa: Governments Should Work to End Economic, Social Problems

African governments should be committed to exercise good governance to end social and economic problems, AU said.

In a press briefing on Wednesday, Social Affairs Commissioner with the AU, Dr. Mustapha Sidiki Kaloko said governments should work to end poverty, migration, hunger and instability, among others.

He stressed that Africa needs new sprit to solve every challenges to secure surplus agriculture production and ensure food scarcity.

The Commissioner said member states should work hard to solve social problems.

Most of the people in rural areas have no access to basic services such as education, communication, health and infrastructure, among others.

He said that AU is working hard to address such necessities among African countries.
