The parliamentary committee on Transport has finally concluded its probe on the Sh327 billion standard gauge railway. The committee, which is presently compiling its report, is likely going to give the project a clean bill of health.
"We interviewed all the people we wanted and we are now through with our investigations, we are going through the evidence we gathered and we will be good to table our findings immediately Parliament reopens," said the committee's chairman Maina Kamanda yesterday. The MPs will resume sittings on February 11.
