KENYATTA University on Wednesday opened a multibillion-shilling school of economics complex. Speaking during the opening ceremony, vice chancellor Prof Olive Mugenda said the institution has produced renown economists, who serve in different capacities nationally and internationally.
"All our courses and programmes offered by the economics school have been designed to meet the needs of the labour market and the economy at large," she said. Central Bank of Kenya Governor Njuguna Ndung'u said the facility will help the country by increasing the number of economists to advise the county governments.
