Egypt: PM Discusses Supporting Conducting Research in Small Enterprises

Prime Minister Hazem el-Beblawi discussed on Thursday 30/01/2014 with Chairman of International Development Research Centre (IDRC) Jean Lebel all the activities that the center tackles with regard to supporting and enhancing scientific researches that represent a priority for Egypt, said Cabinet official spokesman Hani Salah following the meeting attended by the Canadian ambassador.

Premier hailed the center's efforts to support development researches in Egypt, stressing the importance of increasing support in the field of developing SMEs projects' researches, as they greatly help provide youth with job opportunities and activate economy.

Salah noted that the meeting discussed the IDRC activities, especially in light of reinforcing the scientific researches in Egypt.

It is worth mentioning that the IDRC is a public corporation created by the Canadian government to help communities in the developing world to find solutions to social, economic, and environmental problems through researches.
