Egypt: Minister - Four Million Job Opportunities to Be Created

Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, Mohamed Abu Shady said that the ministry is currently implementing the State's plan for development of internal trade through a comprehensive strategic plan as of beginning of this year.
The Minister pointed out that the plan aims to increase investments in internal trade from 7 billion and 800 million pounds to 50 billion pounds while increasing the growth rate from 2 to 8 percent.
Abu Shady noted that the plan also aims at creating 4 million direct and indirect job opportunities as well as establishment of logistic and trade zones and bourses for commodities nationwide.
