Namibia: Cattle Shortage Hits Market

NAMIBIA'S beef industry is likely to suffer the negative effects of drought for the next three years, especially the shortage of slaughter livestock.

The Meat Corporation of Namibia (Meatco)'s Regional Procurement Manager, Koos Classens said in the company's latest newsletter issued on Friday that farmers do not have enough animals to produce optimally.
