Nigeria: Rep Demands Apology From Rivers PDP Over Alleged Blackmail Attempt

Portharcourt — A House of Representatives member,Mr Dakuku Peterside, has demanded an apology from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State, for alleging that he made effort to block the clearance of General Kenneth Minimah as Chief of Army Staff in the National Assembly.

Describing the allegation as malicious and deliberate falsehood, Peterside, who represents Andoni Opobo Nkoro federal constituency in the House, in a statement, yesterday, said the party should apologise to him over the alleged falsehood.
