Nigeria: NNPC Did Not Remit U.S.$20 Billion to Federation Account - Sanusi

The Governor of Central Bank Nigeria (CBN), Sanusi Lamido Sanusi ,has said that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) did not remit the sum of $20 billion to the federation account as revenue generated from crude oil sales.

Sanusi, who made the fresh allegation before the Senate Committee on Finance chaired by Senator Ahmed Makarfi Tuesday, said out of the total realised from crude oil sales is $67 billion, but so far the NNPC has remitted only $47 billion.
