Nigeria/U.S.-Based Journalist, Ekerete Udoh to Launch Newspapers

Notable Nigeria/Us-based journalist, Mr. Ekerete Udoh is set to launch the News of the World newspapers.

Udoh was a weekly columnist in Saturday's THISDAY Newspaper entitled 'Diaspora.'

Udoh, who is also a publisher of the most popular newspaper by an African Diaspora in the United States, said he decided to come back home because he believed the News of the World would help deepen and extend the frontiers of media content and appeal.

According to him, "I believe that we will make a definite statement that politics, business and other consequential discourses vital to our national development and cohesion can be represented and merged in a single publication that carries with it depth, flair and intellectual flourishes."

Udoh holds a bachelor's degree in political science and journalism from Queens College of the City University of New York, CUNY, and a master's degree in international relations and comparative politics from Brooklyn College and also City University of New York where he was the best graduating student.
