Kenya Premier League Bandari signed more players from up-country as a strategy to keep the team going even during the Muslim holy month of Ramadhan.
Head coach Twahir Muhiddin yesterday said it was a deliberate move to have more players from other faiths to ensure the team sustains pressure from rivals when the fasting month sets in. Speaking in Mombasa, Muhiddin said they increased the number of players to 29 this season down from 25 last year 'with a balance of faiths' in the team.
