Nigeria: Wamakko - Nigerians Should Expect New Freedom

6 February 2014

Sokoto — Sokoto State Governor Aliyu Wamakko said yesterday the APC is out to form a government that would ensure equality and social justice for all Nigerians, adding that their mission is a transparent and just government that all Nigerians would be happy with and celebrate a new found freedom.

This is just as 607,000 registration forms were distributed to the 6,070 polling units in Sokoto for the APC membership registration exercise while 4,000 ad-hoc staff are conducting the five-day exercise in the state. Speaking shortly after registering at his Gidan-Kara ward in Wamakko town, Wamakko said the mission of the APC is to form a government that can truly be called responsive and responsible. He described the commencement of the registration as the beginning of good things to happen to the country.
