Kenya: Plan to Play Music in a Public Place, Get a License

If you plan to play music in a wedding, a party or an event you must seek approval from the Music Copyright Society of Kenya. Maurice Okoth says using Djs mix tapes or an individual track by a local or international artiste in a public place without a license is illegal.
