Angola: Peasants Associations Confederation Celebrates Anniversary Focussing On Action Plan

The 2013/2017 Action Plan, designed for the reinforcement of peasant families and agro-industrial production with a view to fighting poverty, is to be launched officially this Thursday, in the northern Zaire Province, by UNACA-Confederation of the Associations of Peasants and Farming Co-operatives of Angola, which is celebrating on the same day 24 years since its creation.

The information has been given to ANGOP by the vice chairman of the confederation, Albano da Silva Lussati, who added that UNACA's programme includes a strategy to guarantee the support of the state to the associations and co-operatives affiliated with UNACA, as well as projects for training managers and leaders of co-operatives, among other plans.
