Many parents will agree with me that children these days have mastered the art of manipulating our emotions, primarily to get what they want especially when it comes to that coveted extra toy or messing around in the house.
Never mind that the new toy will be broken and no longer fit for use after a few hours. When my younger son requests for something or sets his mind on something, it seems that no amount of convincing seems to get him to that point when he understands the part when I say "no".
