Egypt: A New Strategy Through Drawing Up Draft Laws to Achieve Justice, Attract Investments, Fight Corruption

Minister of Justice Adel Abdel-Hamid held a meeting with directors of Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, African Development Bank and their accompanying delegation to discuss promoting cooperation in the judicial field.

During the meeting, Abdel-Hamid said Egypt's Ministry of Justice put forward a new strategy through drawing up draft laws to achieve the principle of prompt justice and minimize the period of litigation.

The ministry also draft a number of bills pertaining to economic reforms, such as the law on investment guarantees and incentives and the law on fighting corruption and money laundering.
