Nigeria: Bauchi Court Frees Post Election Violence Suspects

Bauchi — The Bauchi State High Court presided over by Justice Abdulkadir Husseini Suleiman has discharged two suspects of the 2011 post-election violence and sentenced one suspect to five years imprisonment.

Prosecution counsel, Barrister Mohammed Musa Adamu, had earlier arraigned three suspects; Mohammed Sani Yalo, Muhammed Mamman Yusuf and Utti Yusuf for allegedly committing various offences during the 2011 post election violence in Jama'are Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
