Lusaka — ZAMBIA have announced a squad of 23 players for the preliminary round, first-leg match against Tanzania in the 2014 African Women's Championship to be played at Nkoloma Stadium on Friday.
Zambia national women's football team interim coach Charles Bwale said on Monday that the squad would be trimmed to 18 players on the eve of the match as per Confederation of African Football (CAF) regulations. "We had 28 players in camp but we have reduced the squad to 24.
