Egypt: Assistant Interior Minister - MB Involved in Several Terrorist Operations

Assistant Interior Minister for Information and Public Relations Abdel Fattah Othman said the Interior Ministry does not direct any charges without legal basis and conclusive evidence, pointing out that members of Muslim Brotherhood (MB) were involved in several terrorist operations, including Dakahlia Security Directorate et al.

This came in an interview with "MBC Misr" channel to reveal the identity of the perpetrators of these acts and bombings.

Othman confirmed that the ministry spotted assassination lists for many public figures, noting that the ministry will deal with them seriously.

He stressed that the ministry presented evidences about the involvement of the MB members in several terrorist operations to the Attorney General, adding the judiciary will have the final word on whether the MB members are guilty or not.
