Rwanda: Police Arrest Eight Suspected Thieves

Police in Nyamasheke District have arrested eight people suspected to be involved in various theft-related crimes in the area, including stealing motorcycles. The suspects, who are currently detained at Ruharambuga Police Station, were arrested in separate operations in Nyamasheke and Rusizi districts on Monday.

Police also recovered a motorcycle registration number RB 058T, belonging to Strive Foundation, which had been stolen from Mwezi parish in Nyamasheke on Sunday night. Three of the suspects were arrested in Rusizi where they were trying to sell the recovered motorcycle.
