Africa: Putting Citizen Journalism On the World's Radar
13 February 2014
Radar is a communication rights organisation run by journalists and development professionals that pioneers citizen journalism using mobile phones. This accessible and affordable tool enables news to be heard straight from the source.
Radar trains and mentors new networks of citizen reporters from some of the world's most marginalised communities, those too often excluded from public dialogue owing to poverty, disability, gender or remoteness.
