Algeria Adhered to Saharawi People's Right to Self-Determination, Says Lamamra

Moscow — The Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Ramtan Lamamra has underlined that his country "adhered to the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination, in accordance with UN doctrine through negotiations between the two parties to the conflict, namely the Kingdom of Morocco and Polisario Front."

In an interview with "Russia Today" channel, broadcasted Wednesday on the sidelines of his working visit to Russia, Mr. Lamamra said: "this indeed what is being undertaken by the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary General for Western Sahara, Christopher Ross, so to apt then for the Saharawi people's will through a free and fair referendum."
