Nigeria: Orji's Son Escapes Assassination Attempt

It has emerged that the son of Governor Theodore Orji of Abia state, Chinedu, may have been a target of assassination attempt that resulted in the death of his aide at the weekend in Umuahia.

Chinedu Orji was said to be on his way out of the venue of the grand civic reception held for his father by the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency when a gun shot from yet to be identified source rang out and hit John Ndubuka below his neck.
