Nigeria: Flood - Zamfara Expends N13 Billion to Construct Township Roads, Drainages

Zamfara state government has approved the sum of N13 billion for the construction of 90 km of township roads and drainages in four local government areas to curb the effects flooding this year, a top official said on Friday.

The commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs, AlhajiMuttakaRini, who made this known, said the projects were also beautify the towns and improve the socio-economic well-being of the people.
