Namibia: Cost of Electricity Inputs Increased to N$1,7 Billion in 2013

NAMPOWER revealed in the 2013 annual report that the cost of electricity inputs increased by 48% from N$1,1 billion the previous year to N$1,7 billion in 2013.

"The trend of higher electricity inputs costs is expected to continue going forward, given the prevailing depreciation of the local currency against the US dollar," wrote managing director, Paulinus Shilamba in the report.
