Tunisia: Marzouki Pardons Blogger Jabeur Mejri

Tunis — Caretaker President Moncef Marzouki has pardoned blogger Jabeur Mejri who was sentenced in March 2012 to 7.5 years imprisonment for having posted cartoons "offensive" to the Prophet to social networks.

According to Spokesman for the Presidency, Adnan Mansar, the President had signed last week the republican decree on the special pardon for the blogger.
