Liberia, Stakeholders Validate HIV Study Targeting Key Populations

Monrovia — The Government of Liberia through the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare in collaboration with the National AIDS Commission and civil society organizations have validated a national study-the Integrated Bio-Behavioral Surveillance Survey (IBBSS); aimed at guiding the formulation of programs and policies to strengthen the national response on HIV and Sexual Transmitted Infections (STIs) in the country.

The conference organized recently by the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare and its partners in Monrovia, brought together several national and international partners including health practitioners and other major stakeholders to discussed key findings, conclusion and recommendations in the recently conducted survey.
