Kenya: EU Asked to Fight Poaching

The European Union may anchor its African development aid to wildlife protection and anti-poaching if it adopts an advisory from former German Ambassador to Kenya Margit Hellwig-Boette.

In her latest research published by Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik, a German institute for international and security affairs, Margit says Eastleigh-based middlemen link up terrorists and poachers. The paper is titled Wildlife Crime in Africa - A Global Challenge.
