Angola: Over 20 People Killed in Luanda Road Accidents in 15 Days

At least 22 people were killed and 53 injured as a result of 61 road accidents recorded by the road traffic police in the last 15 days, in Luanda.

Angop learnt from the press department of the provincial command of the National Police , that states the accidents included run-over and car and motorbike crash that caused material damages estimated at Akz 23.1 million (Usd 230,000).

The reasons behind the accidents include over speed, drunken driving, reckless driving and carelessness of pedestrians.
