Kenya: MPs Accuse Courts of Protecting Governors

Jubilee politicians once again bashed the courts for what they described as interference with the mandate of MPs and Senators. Speaking at the Belgut women empowerment Annual General Meeting in Kericho town yesterday.

Led by National Assembly majority leader Aden Duale and his Senate counterpart Kithure Kindiki, the leaders criticised the courts for issuing injunctions blocking the Senate from summoning governors over county expenditures.
