Egypt: Storming Al-Aqsa By Israeli Lawmaker "Zionist Provocation" - Mufti

Egypt's Mufti Shawki Allam has strongly slammed Israeli lawmaker Moshe Feiglin for storming the Al-Aqsa precincts under the protection of private guards.

"The Zionist provocation to the feelings of Muslims unveils a bad intention against the Arab and Islamic holy sites in the Palestinian territories," Allam said in a statement.

Allam urged the Palestinian rivals to unify their ranks to stand up to such acts.

He called on the international community to condemn such provocative acts, which violate all international conventions and the UN resolutions.

Feiglin on Wednesday morning entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound under the eyes of Israeli police and the protection of private guards.

He stood up at the Dome of the Rock Mosque and demanded deporting the Palestinians.
