Egypt: Cabinet Approves Witness Protection Bill, Amends Investment Guarantees, Incentives Law

The Cabinet under Prime Minister Hazem el-Beblawi has approved a draft law on protection of witnesses.

The bill is meant to protect them against any possible threats and to combat crime and realize justice in the society.

The Cabinet also approved amending a law on investment guarantees and incentives.

The amendment aims at ensuring the rights of investors and enhancing trust and confidence in the investment climate in Egypt.
