A counter terrorism unit set up to boost security at the Kenya Ferry Services has threatened to withdraw its services following a tussle over payment of officers' allowances.
Senior police officers attached to the unit said they had not being paid any allowances despite an agreement signed between the national police service and Kenya ferry services.
