Nigeria: NGF Meets, Discusses Sanusi's Suspension, Dwindling Oil Revenue

The Nigerian Governors' Forum (NGF) chaired by the Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Amaechi, met last night to discuss among other issues, the suspension of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the dwindling revenue from crude oil sales.

The meeting that commenced at the Rivers State Governor's Lodge in Abuja at 8.30 pm had the following governors in attendance: Amaechi Murtala Nyako (Adamawa), Tanko Al-Makura (Nasarawa), Rabiu Kwankwaso (Kano), Babatunde Fashola (Lagos), Rochas Okorocha (Imo) and Aliyu Wamakko (Sokoto).
