Egypt: PM Amends Investment Law

Prime Minister Hazem el-Biblawy ratified the new amendments of the investment law to prevent third parties from challenging contracts made between the government and investors.

Investment Minister Osama Saleh said these amendments aim to offer guarantees in dealing with the government and ensure the government's respect to contracts.

The amendments were made to cope with the investment atmosphere, he added.
