Tanzania: Media Ethics Mould Responsible Journalists

WHAT are ethics? The answer is simply moral correctness. In a nutshell, ethics tell public officials, professionals and the society in general what is good or bad conduct. Ethics guide public figures and members of the profession against misconducts and indecent behaviour.

Sometimes, the government, political parties and professional bodies codify these ethics for observation by their members and disciplinary action is taken against violation of ethical guidelines.
