Nigeria: Subsidy Scam - Marketer Loses Bid to Quash EFCC Charges

Lagos — A Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja yesterday threw out threw out the application filed by an oil marketer, Oluwaseun Ogunbambo, seeking to quash the fuel subsidy fraud charge preferred against him and three others by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Ogunbambo alongside Mamman Ali, son of Dr. Ahmadu Ali, a former chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Christian Taylor and their firm - Nassaman Oil Services are being arraigned by the EFCC over alleged N4.4 billion fuel subsidy scam.
