Kenya: Traders Want Fees Reduced

KERICHO Small-scale traders in Litein town have pleaded with MPs to amend the music copyright law. They said they should be be exempted from paying "huge licence fees".

The traders, who operate salons, video showrooms, barber shops and groceries said the rates charged by the society are too high and unfair as they earn peanuts. They were speaking to journalists in Litein town yesterday.
