Kenya: Gachagua Warns MPs On Devolution

NYERI Governor Nderitu Gachagua has warned senators and MPs that devolution will fail is they don't allow his governors to work freely. Gachagua said the senators should support devolution instead of summoning governors every now and then for something which might have been answered by a county executive.

Speaking at Wamagana in Tetu sub county on Tuesday, the governor said what is important is to initiate developments which will be of much benefit to wananchi instead of spending too much time on unnecessary matters like flags and His Excellency titles.
