Kenya: Two APs Attack Chief in Mwingi Central

Police in Mwingi are searching for two AP officers. The two escaped after beating up an assistant chief Gideon Kimanzi at Nyanyaa in Mwingi Central district on Saturday. Kitui AP boss James Mwaniki said Tony Nzomo and Nicholas Mwanthi fled after committing the offence. "There has been a tug of war between Kimanzi and the APs over who should handle cases in the area," said Mwaniki.
