Nigeria: Oliseh's Plaudits for Olaitan

Former Nigeria skipper Sunday Oliseh has said Olympiacos ace Michael Olaitan is ready for the World Cup. Olaitan has been overlooked by coach Stephen Keshi for next month's World Cup warm-up against Mexico.

But Oliseh praised the ex-Flying Eagles star after his Greek club upset mighty Manchester United 2-0 in a UEFA Champions League match on Tuesday night, saying he could even gate crash on Nigeria's World Cup party. Olaitan may have played as the spearhead of his team's attack, but he was involved in the second goal by Joel Campbell in the 55th minute.
