Egypt: Trade Minister to Visit London Next Week to Promote National Projects

Minister of Trade and Industry Mounir Fakhry Abdel-Nour will visit London next week to promote a number of giant national projects that will be carried out during the coming period.

During the meeting with British Ambassador to Egypt James Watt, Abdel-Nour said the government would plan a raft of promising projects that would achieve a quantum leap in the growth rates of the Egyptian economy and create thousands of job opportunities.

The visit was meant to convey positive messages to British media outlets, businesses, and investors over the latest developments in Egypt and the future of investment in the Egyptian market, Abdel-Nour said. He noted that during the stay, he would attend the meetings of Egyptian-British Business Council.

The minister will also hold a raft of meetings with a number of major British companies that invest in Egypt or desire to channel their funds in the Egyptian market.
